Introduction

Hallelujah, Praise the Lord. Welcome to the official website of the Wesleyan Youth Department of the Western Jamaica District. We are excited about this site and we hope that you too will be equally excited as you tour along with us. The dream of being online has finally materialised, so let us rise up church and be on par technologically with the world today.

Western Jamaica District comprises of some thirty (30) churches encompassing five (5) parishes. It extends on the north from the seashores of Negril in Westmoreland unto to Green Island and Lances Bay in Hanover. It continues to the hilly interior of Hanover to Cauldwell, Kendal and Ginger Hill. On the south from the busy port of Savanna la mar through the central plains of Westmoreland. It runs into the farmlands of St Elizabeth onto the cool hills of Knockpatrick in Manchester. It runs through the vere plains in Clarendon and ends in the seaport of Rocky Point.

The youths have been impressed and challenged by the mission of the Wesleyan youth which is to evangelise, nurture and equip the youths to be spiritual leaders committed to lifelong service to Christ. With this in mind we have adopted as our theme this year “The world is in a mess clean it up with holiness”. Would you help to reach at least one soul this year?
